Monday, September 16, 2013 ~ TRYOUTS
Advance registration for tryouts for the Warriors’ 2013-2014 roster is now open. Tryouts will be held on Saturday, September 28th at the Carolina Forest Recreation Center. Advance registration ends on Friday, September 27th at Midnight.

Monday, April 8, 2013 ~ WARRIORS BACK TO FINAL 4
While hosting one half of the Elite 8 ABA Playoff Tournament, the Warriors secured their position in the ABA Final 4 Tournament in Jacksonville, FL beginning April 11th, with victories over the Memphis City Bluff Reign and the New Jersey Express. The Warriors officially punched their ticket to Jacksonville with a close win over the New Jersey Express 89-55 positioning themselves in a possible rematch of last year’s title match with the Jacksonville Giants.

Friday, March 29,2013~ WARRIORS HOST 2013 ELITE 8 TOURNAMENT
The Warriors will play host to the 2013 Elite 8 Playoff Tournament beginning Saturday, April 6th. The Tournament itself will begin Friday, April 5th in Fayetteville, NC as the Fayetteville Flight take on the Chicago Steam. On Saturday basketball fans will be treated to a double header at the Carolina Forest Recreation Center when the Warriors will take the court against the New Jersey Express and the winner of the Flight/ Steam game will go head to head against the Memphis Reign. On Sunday, April 7th the two winners of Saturday’s games will play for the right to travel to Jacksonville, FL to take part in the Final Four Championship Tournament.

Saturday, March 9, 2013 ~ WARRIORS DEFEAT LIONS
Mid-Atlantic Championship rings check. Fifty straight undeafted home games check. Hungry for the ABA title… without a doubt. Warriors defeated the Electric City Lions (whom were filling in for the Atlanta Aliens whom were not able to attend) 119 – 101. On this very special night Don Hughes and Mario Edwards led the Warriors’ homestand with 30 pts and 29 pts respectively. The Electric Lions attack was led by Mareo Thompson from Truett-McConnell College with 26 pts. The Warriors will once again play host to the Electric City Lions tomorrow at 5 pm.
